Plumbing Studies (6035-03) Level 3 Diploma Duration

Plumbing Studies (6035-03) Level 3 Diploma is a one year course with attendance at college for three evenings per week for 35 weeks.Or every Saturday for 35 Weeks. Each totalling 9hrs per day.

Introduction

The course is intended for those that want to gain basic skills and knowledge in order to gain entry into the plumbing and building services engineering industry. This qualification replaces the existing 6129 Level 3 Certificate in Plumbing Studies (technical certificate). This is taught at our Northampton Centre , which is located with strong transport links with Birmingham, Leicester, Milton Keynes, Oxford, Peterborough, Coventry, Corby, Wellingborough, Kettering, Rushden and Daventry. Situated with in a short drive from the M1, M6, A14 and a 10 min walk from the new train station getting to EAS could not be easier.

Functional Skills

We can support you if you wish to conclude these exams. This will be at an extra cost to any individual who wished to partake.

Teaching Methods

The programme is college based and you will be required to attend theory and practical lessons.

Assessment

The assessments consist of on-line tests to be completed and passed at the end of each unit. There will also be a practical task manual to be completed in the workshop throughout the year.

Opportunities for Progression

You can progress onto your onsite assessments and allows you to become employable by obtaining the 6189 level 3 and to then move on to a level 4 programme.

Cost

24+ ADVANCED LEARNING LOANS

Anyone aged 24 or over may apply for a 24+ Advanced Learning Loan.  The loans are designed to help you pay your tuition fees and are available to all UK nationals* studying a publicly funded Level 3 or Level 4 Course.  It's easy to apply, your household income isn't taken into account and there's no credit check. You won't have to pay anything back until your income is over £21,000 a year. If your loan is for an Access to Higher Education programme and you progress to complete a Higher Education programme, you will not have to pay back your 24+ loan.

6035 – 03 only = £ TBC

6035-03 + Functional skills to level 2 (ICT, English, Maths) = £ TBC

 

Onsite assessments-

EAS Mechanical Ltd will also once you have found employment register you free of charge onto the 6189 route to complete you NVQ/QCF assessments.
We normally charge £900.00 - £1000.00 for us to come out and see you onsite but we will also reduce that to £500.00 and give you the full support you need.
